Student Late Night Lyft

Missed the last shuttle due to a late night at the library or lab? We’ve got you covered with a Lyft! Students can ride Lyft from campus to home, a transit hub, or other UCSF campus after hours and UCSF will cover the first $10 of the ride, up to 15 rides per month. Hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., and pick-up locations are restricted to these UCSF campus locations: including Parnassus Heights, Mission Bay, SF VA Hospital, and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.

To get started, create a Lyft account with your UCSF email address (or add your UCSF email to an existing account). The first time you join this student program, you will receive an opt-in email from Lyft in which you will need to click a link. The Lyft Pass will be added to your Lyft account on the first day of each month when you are a registered student. Use the Lyft app in “personal” mode (not “business” mode) to request a ride.

For more information, visit the UCSF Transportation Student Services webpage.
